Bio via Tim Frazier:

The Payoff was a three piece band of high school friends from Mount Olive, Alabama that fused DC style guitar riffs with So Cal melodic punk. Featuring two members of the defunct Society Overload (guitar and drums respectfully) and the current bassist from Skeptic?, they had a three song demo, an EP titled Send More Paramedics, and a full length album called Riders of the Dead Horse, all recorded by the one and only Matt Whitson.

They disbanded in 2008 but played one more show in 2013 for the Cave 9 Anniversary Bash.

The guitarist/vocalist currently plays bass in Biggievstupac and their bassist is still doing his thing in Skeptic?. Their drummer has a bunch of kids and lives near Huntsville.
